The Open GLAMs & heritage project delved into the examination of social, technical, and legal infrastructures and frameworks of open GLAMs (Galleries, Libraries, Archives, and Museums) & Heritage of Pakistan. Here are the key outcomes:
– Established a progressive web presence for easy access
to details of heritage sites, institutions, and GLAMs at Explore Open (xploreopen.org).
– Created social media presence of Open heritage of Pakistan on Facebook and Twitter
– Social media representation of GLAMs and heritage sites in Pakistan is lacking across platforms.
– Social media campaigns significantly promote cultural heritage.
